Growing!

Time flys.  It really does.  Things I want to remember?  ALL KIDS ARE DIFFERENT.  It is not right to expect kids to react the same to life situations.  Moving?  Starting School?  Church Nursery?  Following Directions?  Sitting Still?  It's a challenge to learn what makes adults "tick"  it's  even harder to figure out kids motivators and discouragements.   It's a labor of love - and it's worth it!

My kids have a story.  It belongs to them   But I want to be able to remind them of all the steps they took in the young years of their journey.

Anger hurts EVERYONE, LOVE helps EVERYONE!  Love comes in a million different forms, but it is ALL from God.   Cling to Jesus- He knows the way HOME.

Forgive.

It's really not all that important to get it all right, all the time.  It's really not.  Try? YES!  Fail?  sometimes?  but TRY AGAIN.

It's impossible that God loves us.  We are SHEEP.  But HE DOES LOVE US!    
We sin against HIM.  It is personal.  My kids, hurt me with their disobedience,  it causes me pain and deep grief.  GOD IS ALLOWING ME TO GET A GLIMPSE OF HOW HURTFULLY I TREAT HIM.  OUCH.

It's not what you think!

Yes. This is a smiling picture of Gabby at a store with a Justin Bieber "T-shirt." Yes, she loves his image. Yes, she lights up EVERY time we see his photos. (Is it my imagination? or is this kid everywhere!) Yes! She would like a poster of him in her room....

but.......when she sights this image, when she is excitedly jumping up and down- pointing to the book cover, magazine at the grocery check out or shirt...she is SHOUTING! "UNCLE PHIL! UNCLE PHIL!!!!!"
