I love Saturday mornings...

It's a time to relax and play.  Nothing "has" get done right now and Aaliyah is having a blast.  Here is my favorite photo of the morning.  This pretty much says it all.  Life is good. 

Thought I should give this a try....

So here it is- my third attempt at creating a Blog.  Two posts in one night?  Is anyone impressed? It is actually quite a accomplishment!  Since I have tried and failed to "get" a blog for several months now!  The best thing I have to write about is the little darling :)  So I will share a recent toddler moment.

 I was doing dishes with my back turned, I had placed a bowl of vanilla yogurt on her tray and was busy getting my dishwasher loaded... we were only three feet away from each other!  I turned around when I heard her saying "Rub! Rub! Rub!"  (It's what I say to her as I lather her up in lotion every morning.)  I put a lot of effort into keeping her skin and hair moisturized.  So I guess she is helping...in her own way.  She was already a MESS! So I let her enjoy it for awhile.  Then she got a bath...and of course, she got a fresh coat of lotion!

FUNNY STORY~

 

We went to Starbucks this afternoon-I got an "Iced Mocha" (Which is actually a 16 oz Caramel Machiatto (SP??) with whole milk...but that's another story.) I ordered my drink and walked to the other side of the bar, where the Baristas were LOVING on Aaliyah! Talking to her and telling her how cute she was and that they loved her beaded hair-do. Then one of the gals held out her hand and said "Give me 5!"

Aaliyah responded by pinching her fingers together like she was holding something and placed it into her hands. "I give you World Peace instead." WE ALL CRACKED UP!  Even Aaliyah!
