A little holiday fun

Aaliyah and Gabby both love "dress-up." We were just at a friends house who have the "ULTIMATE" dress up collection. Aaliyah has not stopped talking about her friends...or their clothing selection :)

Aaliyah got her hair done in spokane at a real salon. She was quite pleased with the big girl style and loves the beads that click when she turns her head. I tried to pay close attention while the braids were being done....but????? how do they do that!!!!!!!

Gabby is getting more and more talkative, when she is in the mood, she will try almost any word we ask her to say. What a fun stage. Not so fun? We have just entered the "MINE!" stage as well. She continues to LOVE music and dancing.

As we prepare for the Christmas season, we are so thankful for what we have, and praise God for all our friends and family. We are also aware and praying for the grieved and hurting. We have loved ones who need strength and miracles, we are thankful to remember our true HOPE.

Because camping is so much fun-

Are we crazy?

Wait...don't answer that. 

Our condo in Idaho is pretty great.  I love the view, the location in reference to Aaron's office, the new carpet, and even the two window A/C units.  (We found out that we are the ONLY unit with two!)  One is good, two is better.  MUCH BETTER! 

So...why are we moving?  Again?  

Good question. 

REALLY good question...

Here is the house we were told about, now that we have cleaned it...I am LOVING it!  (It was vacant for over a year.)  Aaliyah loves it!  That is huge!  She never got totally comfortable here...even cried on a weekly basis when returning home.  Weird.   The swing set may have something to do with that.   

Aaliyah and Gabby are both sick, cough, congestion and clingy.  When one is sleeping, it would be wonderful to be at the new place to put her in a quiet room for uninterrupted sleep.  :) Three bedrooms sound wonderful to me right about now!

We sub-leased our place here, to a couple that is moving from the CDA area.  (We never knew them when we lived there, but saw them in church Sunday!)  God was in the details here- for both families.  Everyone is excited to make the switch.  

Well...that's it for now.  I need to pack.  Again.

It's Time....

I have been wanting to make the Blog accessible "by invitation" for awhile now.   Today was the day...I actually figured out how to make the switch to "private."  At least I think I did!

Couch time....kind of-

Aaliyah was wound up ALL day waiting for her friends to come play.  I was a little worried that she would be all out of energy and crash as soon as "her" guests arrived.   As it turns out, there was nothing to worry about!  Aaliyah was so excited for young people to play with and entertain.  Gabby did really well too.  She took a little while but she warmed up by the time everyone had to head home.

It was so fun to see the girls playing this afternoon.  They took turns chasing and spinning each other around the room.  Gabby was actively pulling on and instigating the game.  :)  

So....about "Part 2"...

Yeah, that never happened.  Aaliyah did so wonderfully sitting still for all 66 braids, but I haven't gotten her to stay still for 20 seconds since I tied the last knot.  Here we are on the 5th...singing and dancing in the rain.  

Have I mentioned that Gabby is walking?

Swinging into Summer-

Both girls like to swing.  Aaliyah happily asks to go "Higher! and HIGHER!"   Gabby prefers to watch her sister fly through the air and continue at a slower, mellower pace. (Smart girl!)
