Princess Tamara!

Attending Aaron and Tamara's wedding was a wonderful way to spend the Memorial Day Weekend.  Aaliyah was "star-struck!"  She remembered to whisper during the actual wedding ceremony...we told her that she would need to be quiet.  Unfortunately, she did not understand that being quiet would require silence during the vows.  We were in and out of the festivities all afternoon.  Tamara was a BEAUTIFUL BRIDE!!

Way back when...my baby turned THREE!"

Love this Photo.  How awesome that three GRANDpas were together to share this special day for Aaliyah.  She is STILL talking about her birthday at Grammy and Gramps house!

Meanwhile...Gabby decided that Computers were her line of work.  Poppy "T" was on-hand to show her the ropes.

Playing a little "catch-up."

The photos really don't do the cupcakes justice.  They were REALLY good!  Aaliyah and Gabby are both loving the attention...and the sugar. Aaliyah got to wear her apron and Gabby wore the "chef" hat.  At one point we looked over at her to discover it was covering her WHOLE face...remarkably, she didn't seem to mind!

Aaliyah enjoys "waterfalls."  We use the term very loosely.  Pretty much anything with H2O and movement is a waterfall to us.  We go to Lowes, Home Depot or other home and garden stores just to visit their outdoor patio section. It's kind of a family hobby.  :)

Me-How does Sammy like his new home?
Aaliyah-Good.
Me-What is is favotite thing to do here?
Aaliyah-Maybe hit...or maybe kiss.
Me-Anthing else?
Aaliyah-Blow bubbles with my friends.  Yesterday, my friends ate bubbles.  When I am a big kid can I eat bubbles?
Me- Uh No.
Me-What did Sammy ask you yesterday?
Aaliyah-Do you have a boo boo?
Me- Did you?
Aaliyah- Yes. He kissed it.
Me- That was kind of him.  Is he a good friend?
Aaliyah- Yes.  He is kind.  Um, nice lady, Gabby wants a sucker...

Little Mommy

Something made Aaliyah think of Mothers Day.  She has been wishing me a "Happy Mutters Day" since she woke up.  I fed Gabby breakfast and made a small bottle, Aaliyah came running and asked to be a little mommy and feed the baby.  :)
She continues to say "Happy Mutters Day" every few minutes.

"Is she trying to say something?"

"What's a Three-Year-Old to do?"

I love this photo because....of what happens next.

"Daddy Gave me a Rose!"

"Smell My Rose.  Isn't my Rose neat?"

"Dance! with my Rose!"

"Oh?"
